Vent holes and size stamps

The ventilation holes or the air-vent bushings have distinctive shape and size relative to the different 5 manufacturers of helmets. These differences continued from the M35 to the M42. The ink size stamps in the liner leather have different fonts and appearance; the liner manufacturer can often be determined from the ink stamp.

M35 ET air-vent bushing. As with all vents on M35s, the air-vent bushing is pressed into to an opening in the shell. The air-vent bushing is a separate part.
